What is the name of your company and what are your areas of specialisation?
At Aluminium Congost SL, we are specialised in solar protection and automatisms to be installed in the window. The window itself is installed by our clients.

Why did you opt for a solar control solution in the Via Augusta residential building? Why did you opt for the Rolpac stackable roller shutter?
The construction company (La Llave de Oro) only wants quality products and top brands in their development projects. We opted for Metalunic in the daytime areas and Rolpac for the nighttime areas because they offer more darkness.

What was your role in the realisation of the project, and what factors had to be taken into account for the project to run smoothly?
The construction company had some doubts about the product and, above all, about insulation. When we offered them a solar control product that also offered 100% watertightness as there was no interior window register, they were convinced.

What advice were you able to offer to the developer of the building?
The ease of installation and the watertightness it offers, as it has no interior registers, were key. Also, the after-sales service offered by Griesser and by us were decisive factors in the choice. There are many manufacturers who are willing to sell and carry out large projects, but not so many who offer after-sales service.

And what was the key factor in making the project a success?
The support we as a Griesser partner had from their factory was key to the development and success of the project.

Is there anything you appreciated about Griesser's work on this project?
Up to that point, Griesser was just another supplier in our portfolio, at which point I realised that I was dealing with a great team and a great company. That's when we decided to change the direction of our company and dedicate ourselves almost 100% to the Griesser product.

What advice would you give to other homeowners who want to install roller shutters?
As I always say, every building has its own roller shutter, but currently the only benefits of roller shutters are price and obscurity. Stackable products, on the other hand, offer many more benefits while aesthetically adapting to any type of construction.
Before finishing, I would also like to mention the company Aluminis Granollers, professionals in the field of enclosure systems who have given us the opportunity to work on these projects. Without their commitment it would not have been possible to achieve success.
