Well-conceived solutions not only for solar shading: Our new delivery truck

At Griesser, we don't just concentrate on our products. When purchasing our new delivery truck, we looked closely and considered how we could optimize the means of transporting our blinds. Easy and comfortable operation were particularly important to us. That benefits not only employees but our customers as well because delivery can take place even more smoothly. A win-win situation for which we are admittedly quite proud.

The new truck also has a cab-mounted crane, the same as the last truck we purchased. Unloading awnings, which can be up to 7 meters long and weigh 190 kilos, is done from the side making it very easy for our driver.

The side-opening truck with hydraulic slew drive allows the new truck to be opened from the side making it significantly easier to load and unload compared to conventional trucks. That saves time – and patience. The lifting platform, 50 cm longer than its predecessor, also meets this purpose since now long pallets can be comfortably unloaded.

As with our blinds, we always have the whole picture in mind, and here too, we thought things through. That's why the new truck has a 3-level extendable drawbar that allows us to use the extended lifting platform to the max: In the first step (drawbar extended), the truck can be loaded, in the second step (drawbar in the middle), it can be parked and manoeuvered, and in the third step (drawbar retracted), the vehicle can be driven normally on the street.

With all of the new features, our new truck represents our claim to be a responsible employer and, at the same time, to be among the most innovative providers of individual solar shading solutions.
